HOW POLARIZATION WORKS

Think of polarized lenses as horizontal blinds for your eyes.

We use a special filter that blocks horizontal light waves – the primary cause of glare from reflective surfaces like water, snow, wet roads, and glass.

Light waves vibrate in all directions, but when they bounce off flat surfaces, they become horizontal, creating blinding glare.

Polarized lenses contain a special filter oriented vertically, blocking these horizontal light waves while allowing vertical light through.
